  1. Let us have a personal stash to store items in, located at each printer/poi.

    Plenty of people complaining about the new space limitations. Many suggestions about increasing the base size/upgrade size. I figure that whatever happens it would be great to have a little (50 - 100 slot) personal stash located at each Printer or POI that we could store our items in. This would be best for items that you want to keep but don't need to carry around like if you found nice gear for a frame you don't have yet or for all those consumables that lvl 40 you doesn't need but may want when starting a new frame.

  2. New players should get an LGV early on

    First off, I am a vet like many other players. Even with all of the changes, most of us already have an LGV if not several among other things. So we're not as affected as a new player would be. This benefits me in no way directly.

    There needs to be an LGV introduced to players close to the start of their adventures in FireFall. This is really needed now more than ever thanks to the world massively growing in size along with ARES Jobs. As we know, the shuttles just travel a few routes and often no where near…

  3. Make interface for changing servers or allow addons to do this.

    There should be a way to change server without having to ask other people to send you invite.
    Reasons for changing servers
    1. Too high or too low population on your shard, crucial for people who can only play at certain hour. Most world events don't scale with amount of people participating, over and underpopulation makes them less fun and overly easy or hard.
    2. No cross-instance chat and looking for group capabilities. Very hard to find party for certain events when you are bound to just 1 zone.
    3. Community managers have to manually invite people to events.

    I’m marking this as “planned” but with some caveats. We do want to implement a feature that will allow you to return to a home shard after playing in a different region, or other reasons.

    We will not be providing a server browser nor a method to continually jump around solely for specific events because that compromises the design of having an open world with events that occur in a dynamic fashion.

    In short, we recognize there are legitimate uses and desires for a way to move to a shard, but we want to take care that shard-jumping isn’t done in an abusive manner. Our exact implementation is TBD.

  4. Plot tokens should be one every 4 levels instead of all at level 40

    Currently it is very slow and a long grind to level 40 however if you change it to this it has the same effect however players will feel a sense of progression and will play more as they will be constantly being rewarded for levelling

  5. Allow armies to have more than 100 members.

    It's a serious problem for clans with more than 100 members who want to migrate to Firefall. Or communities who would like an army of their own.

    We have announced that we’d like to support a cap of 500 players in an army. We need to do some load testing first to ensure that the systems in place can support 500 player armies, and make any adjustments necessary to bring this to a reality.

  6. Add a player inactivity tracker for armies.

    Currently, there is no tracker for how long a player has been inactive. Given the army size cap, this causes issues when you have to prune inactive members to make space for new ones. Just tell us how long it's been since the player last logged in.

    Hey guys,

    We’re working on many upgrades to the Army interface. We’ve taken in wish lists from many different armies in the game and should be implementing a bulk of the suggestions. Showing last online status of players in your army is certainly one of those features that will make it in.

    We’re currently working on the layout and design as well as building the back end of the new system.

  7. jet energy cap after release patch

    Before the release you could have ~700+ jet energy on jetpack module(high-end tier) and 300 energy on fully leveled T4 battleframe(for each core upgrade it gave +15 jet energy).
    So it was 1000+ jet energy.

    Now it's 300 base jet energy + 160 from energy core = maximum 460 jet energy with the downside of having less movespeed+less health+less jet energy recharge, wich you have not before patch.

    Ability of flying on jetpacks in firefall was an amazing unique feature, giving you "3-demensional freedom" with no "unclimable mountains".

  8. Consider a different 'solution' for Engineer Turrets (non-multi turrets) than the dreaded 'timer'.

    Can you guys at Red 5 'please' come up with a different approach to solving the issue with people leaving the single drop Engineer Turret (the one that upgrades, not the multi-turrets) out in mission areas that doesnt include a rather annoying 'hidden' timer?

    The Main reason i 'dont' use the multi-turret skill on my Bastion is because i HATE having to constantly micro-manage 3 separate 'hidden' timers. To the point that in order to play 'effectively' i need to use 3 old-school kitchen timers to know when i need to replace a turret that is about to magically 'poof'.

  9. Have an overflow exp mechanic to store post 40 exp for alternate frames.

    When the end gamers come and see what a time sink leveling for the appropriate perks needed to optimize for pve or pvp, many, like myself will quit the game before spending another 50 plus hours grinding a total of 100 levels in other frames, etc. I dont think i'm a minority when I hit 40 and want to prepare for the endgame at the endgame. An exp overflow will still require the pilots licenses to be purchased in order to put overflow exp into a frame, perhaps via the battleframe garage where you can spend pilot tokens. This will…

  10. Give us blueprints for Thudders

    Give us blueprints for various sizes of Thudders, like the ones for the mission in Devil's Tusk.

    They'll collect no minerals, but can be heavily armored, and as a result, bring more wildlife than the same sized Thumper.

    This may or may not affect the chances of Chosen dropping in. (Do they show up because they want our resources, or because they just want to kill us?)

  12. xp crystals that stores xp on max frames

    i think a good way to get a ressource sink and not mad about the grinding if you have already 3-4 on max lvl is to implement xp crystals.

    these xp crystals you can craft maybe for 1000uranium or something like that, these crystals stores all the xp you get on max lvl with a loss rate of 25%

    so you need 125% to fill the crystal. the crystal can hold maybe 500k xp and get destroyed with using it.

    thats a good way for pvp players can get perks for there main frame without doing the grinding loop.

    Back in the closed beta days, Red5 wasn't so worried about protecting their .lua files from editing, so it was quite easy to create your own warpaints and actually have other players see them. I had fun with it and looked forward to buying my own once it was out of beta.

    Much to my dismay, it became apparent that R5 wasn't going to let players have many options in personalizing their own Battleframe colors and we ended up with preset Warpaint schemes.

    I am extremely weary of having to ask players to leave me and my thumper alone so i can get some crystatic biofluids at long last... and half of them just ignores me and continues to kill MY mobs.. this is irritating.
    Do something red5, after all it's you guys who implemented those bloody crystatic biofluids.
    I want MY loot spawned by MY thumper to be MINE alone, thanks.

  15. Raid Tokens

    Currently, fighting Baneclaw/Kanaloa nets three drops (lvl 38-39 for Baneclaw, lvl 40 for Kanaloa) for entire raids of 10 to 20 people. The effort is (given some bugs in Baneclaw) high, the lockout one week, and the rewards do not measure up. Sadness runs deep.

    For a loot system, Global Agenda did it well - for running bosses, you received tokens, which were a currency outside of the existing system, which yould be used to purchase specialised gear.     We have the ability to grant Titan Tokens to players upon their first completion of boss kills per week. We intend to create items that can be purchased using those tokens. Once we’re all set for that we’ll enable Titan Tokens as drops as well as a vendor where those items can be purchased.

  16. [RECON] R37 Battle Rifle

    Everybody loves more weapons! The R37 Battle Rifle is the big brother of the R36 Assault Rifle.

    It features a heavier, rifle-sized catridge and is semi-automatic. A 2-4x scope would by ideal for allowing the rifle to fulfill the designated marksman role.

    Think of something along the lines of Mass Effect 2 & 3's M96 Mattock Battle Rifle.

    The R36 appearance could be reused almost entirely. The only change required would be a heavier looking barrel with a slightly larger bore and a wider magazine to accommodate the larger cartridges.

  17. Make glider visuals another equipement slot

    Instead of having all the gliders in your inventory, make a slot on the frames to "add" a particular glider to that frame.

    All suits would auto equip the basic blue wing. Then you could change that out with whatever other glider you want for that suit. (remember you can change your loadout from wherever now)

    No matter which glider pad is put down, the gear loaded onto the suit would be the wings that would pop out.

  18. Make the Chosen a real threat

    As things stand now, the Chosen are a middling threat to operators of New Eden. The strike teams, while can number up to 50 or so, can be dealt with relatively easily by a squad, and the Invasions simply aren't all that much of a challenge thanks to the swarm of players they summon.

    So what I'm thinking is something like this:

    If players are able to keep the Chosen from holding POI or towers for a long enough time, like, say, 12 hours, the shard suddenly faces a rush of Chosen attacks, striking 7 or 8 locations at once,…

  19. Class priority looting.

    After playing a few rounds of HC BWA as a recluse I've had three necro crossbows drop, only to have them taken by a mammoth, dragonfly and firecat rolling need against me.

    Now I have nothing against another recluse rolling against me but having these loot horders roll on everything makes me wonder if the need/greed system even works properly.

    I think we should have a system that priorities rolls for classes you are actively playing as.

    For example, a 40 epic biocrossbow drops both a mammoth and recluse rolls need on it while the other three squadmates roll greed.…

  20. Add ability details in the research menu.

    It would be great if you could mouse hover or click on a research item and it give a detailed list of the abilities you could produce. I'm new to Firefall and it took a bit of trial and error and wasted resources investing in abilties that I actually did not want.
